I am delighted to introduce Louise as one of the 2026 Sponsored Riders.

Louise Hebdon is an event rider who focuses primarily on eventing, alongside some showing. Her journey with horses began at just 4 years old at Lacys Cottage Riding School, where her love for riding first started—and it’s only grown stronger ever since.

Her first horse, Chief, a Dales Pony, played a huge part in shaping her journey. Together they discovered eventing, and he laid the foundations for everything that followed. After recovering from grass sickness, Chief is now enjoying a quieter life, having given Louise so much along the way.

Louise is currently competing Spotty, a 6-year-old Irish Sports Horse, who is eventing at 90 and showing a real talent for jumping. Alongside him, she also has Myrtle, her 4-year-old, who she is in the early stages of producing and is looking forward to bringing on.

Louise joined Sharon Johnson Equestrian as a sponsored rider in 2026, and is focusing on continuing to develop her confidence, fitness, and overall performance as a rider. She is particularly interested in improving her fitness for her horses, as well as understanding nutrition for both horse and rider to support their progress.

Her goals are to keep building confidence, strengthen her partnership with her horses, and continue progressing within eventing while developing her young horse for the future.

Louise is a committed and driven rider with a clear passion for her horses, and it will be exciting to follow her journey as she continues to grow and develop.
